WHAT IS NORDIC WALKING?

Nordic walking is an open- air activity that is good for the heart and circulation. It works on all the major muscle groups – it strengthens arms and shoulders, improves back posture and is also good for toning up abdominal muscles and buttocks. At first sight it could appear to be a miracle cure. In fact Nordic Walking is a new sport whose popularity is rapidly spreading all over the world. Anyone can take part and what’s more, it does not require expensive equipment or clothing and is an activity that takes place all year round. It is, quite simply, highly effective, affordable and fun!

A sport for all which is easily accessible

For the reasons above, Nordic walking is a, “sport for all”, considered to be one of the most complete forms of exercise in which anyone can take part, all year round, whatever your age or level of fitness. As host to mountains, sea, towns and parks, Italy is the ideal, open-air stage for this activity.

  • Improves flexibility and mobility of the joints and spine
